My favorite 'book' is the Bible,
which is actually a collection of 66 books, compiled by over 40
different authors. I grew up with the King James Version (KJV). I then moved on to the New International Version (NIV). I now primarily use the New Living Translation (NLT). When reading for interest, I prefer also to read it chronologically. I have both an NIV and NLT in this style. I also have quite a few other versions, including: |

My all-time-favorite fiction
book series in J.R.R.
Tolkien's The Lord of
the Rings Trilogy. You cannot imagine how happy I was for

My first favorite scifi author
was Isaac Asimov. Book series that I have
read from him include the Foundation Trilogy,
which is composed of the following books: As part of that overall series there are some other books I have read: There are many other books related to the 'Foundation' series that I have not yet read. One of my favorite single books is Fantastic Voyage, which was a novelization of the screenplay for a 1966 movie. Many years later, Fantastic Voyage II: Destination Brain was written. I have also read countless short stories and other novels from this author. |

I read one of my first scifi
books in elementary school, and later bought a used copy (my very
first). It was by Andre
Norton and was the book (apparently) in The Time Traders
